As part of your local membership, luncheons are included. But did you know that if every member attended every lunch, the chapter would lose money? It's true. Your dues do NOT cover 12 months of lunches. Some of the money you pay in your local dues covers some of the lunches, but certainly not a year's worth.
Certainly, we are not suggesting you skip the meetings! We want you to attend! But what we are asking is that if you make a reservation to attend, please do attend. If you do not attend, PRSA still has to pay for your lunch as if you were there.
PRSA is billed based on the number guaranteed to the facility. If you have registered, you are in the guaranteed number.
Yes, emergencies occur. You have until the morning of the meeting to cancel a reservation - up until an hour prior to 11:45 a.m. To cancel, contact Jamie Coggins, PRSA coordinator, at (901) 488.0663. If you do not cancel by the deadline, you will receive a notice alerting you to the fact. If this happens more than once in a calendar year, you will be billed for your missed lunch.
If you register online, and are a NON-MEMBER, you may choose to pay online by credit card or you may pay at the door. Credit cards are ONLY accepted online. You may pay with a check or cash at the door.
PRSA can NO LONGER invoice your company for your lunch. Too many invoices go unpaid, resulting in another loss for PRSA Memphis. If you need to be invoiced, you must request the invoice at the time of registration and provide ample time for your company to cut a check so it may be presented at the door at the luncheon.
Without payment online or at the door, guests will no longer be able to attend.
Guests lunches are $25. Students are $15.
A sign has been posted at the registration table during the last few luncheons alerting members and guests of this policy.
